The name „TATEKU“, derived from the Japanese and meaning „to build something from the ground up“, summarises our self-image: we are rethinking entrepreneurial activity - with a focus on real, substantial development instead of speculative financial models.
Our commitment combines ecological responsibility with strategic foresight. We invest in forward-looking solutions - from climate-resistant forestry and serial timber construction to the utilisation of biogenic waste materials. In this way, we create stable foundations for innovation, CO₂-reduction and play our part in creating a future worth living.

Smart TIMBER PRODUCTS
Building with a system
Under the term Smart Timber Products, the brand [HolzWerk³]
the high-performance construction method of serial timber modular construction in 3D. The special feature: a high degree of prefabrication based on digital planning using the natural raw material wood for efficient, ecological and future-orientated construction from a single source. Another timber construction product is created at Thüringer Holzwerk Hermsdorf GmbH: special construction solutions made of glulam and beams up to 50 metres in length.
Smart Carbon Products
Green Carbon & Bioliquids
The TATEKU Group develops innovative solutions for CO2-binding and focusses on the material use of the resulting products. Green carbon and bioliquids for the construction sector, agriculture and the chemical industry are created from biogenic residues. AI-supported processes enable resource-saving applications - for a climate-friendly future in which carbon becomes a raw material.
