Carbon Products
Green carbon rethought
With Smart Carbon Products, the TATEKU Group is actively driving forward the development of sustainable carbon solutions for industry and the environment. Based on residues from agriculture and forestry, innovative materials such as Green Carbon and Bioliquids, which open up a wide range of applications - from agriculture to the steel industry.
Through the use of data-driven AI models we optimise production processes and develop applications that actively bind CO₂ or usefully replace it in existing industrial processes. While green carbon is used to improve agricultural soils or as a CO2-can be used as an additive in construction, processed bioliquids offer new perspectives for the chemical industry - for example in the production of Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF).
Our aim is to understand carbon not as a problem, but as a resource - and to utilise it through innovative processes in order to contribute to Decarbonisation of entire industries to the market. The company subsidiary CR-Systems GmbH is responsible for marketing

BSH-Customised construction - tailor-made solutions for complex requirements beyond the standard
Within the TATEKU Group, customised construction stands for tailor-made glulam solutions with a high degree of technical precision and creative freedom. The basis for this is our comprehensive expertise in timber technology: it combines traditional craftsmanship and many years of experience with digital production at the highest level.
At our site, we use state-of-the-art CNC-controlled machines to produce customised timber elements that enable fast, efficient assembly on the construction site. Our particular strength lies in the realisation of individual beam shapes with spans of up to 50 metres.
This is how we create Thüringer Holzwerke Hermsdorf GmbH, a TATEKU Group company, produces architecturally sophisticated special components in wood that fulfil functional, ecological and aesthetic requirements in equal measure - from planning to implementation, all from a single source.
Timber frame construction

Timber frame construction is a central building block in the product portfolio of [HolzWerk³] - a brand of the TATEKU Group - and is used wherever functional building forms with a clear structure and high adaptability are required. Timber frame construction combines efficient prefabrication, short construction times and a high degree of design freedom - ideal for both temporary and permanent applications.
Timber frame construction is a construction method in which the load-bearing structure consists of a stable timber frame. The gaps are filled with high-quality insulation and planked on both sides with wood-based materials or gypsum fibreboards. This results in highly thermally insulated wall, ceiling and roof elements that are prefabricated and precisely prepared in the factory. These prefabricated timber elements enable extremely fast and efficient assembly - ideal for a wide range of construction projects such as Tiny Living projects, detached houses or multi-storey residential buildings.
Modular construction
Modular timber construction - sustainable, efficient, future-orientated
Serialised modular timber construction is an innovative construction method in which three-dimensional spatial units [modules] made of wood are prefabricated in the production hall and assembled on site. This method enables high precision and quality, as the modules are manufactured under controlled conditions in our production halls. The construction time on site is considerably reduced as the modules are delivered with all installations and the final surfaces already in place and only need to be assembled on site.
Modular timber construction offers numerous advantages, particularly in multi-storey residential construction:
